Mary's Voice

Presenting music for voices and harp, inspired by the story of Mary's personal anticipation of the birth of baby Jesus. 

Membership

Membership in Antietam Women's Ensemble is open to all women who:

*Are age 17 and over;

*Have the desire to sing high-quality music composed for women's voices;

*Have some background in choral singing (school, church, or community choirs) and basic music-reading ability (solo ability is NOT a requirement);

*Attend a placement audition with the director --contact Georgiann Toole at SingInAwe@aol.com for an audition. (Note: this is NOT a pass/fail audition, but an opportunity for the director to hear each individual voice for planning purposes. Guaranteed non-scary!);

*Attend weekly rehearsals, approximately 10 rehearsals for each concert;

*Agree to practice concert music individually if necessary.
